Matt York : Matt has come on in Leaps and Bounds with a few black eyes and broken booms thrown in for good measure. Matt is one of many (if not all) UK speedsailors who juggles a full time job and travelling the length and breadth of the country in search of a PB. 2013 saw Matt switch from Simmer sails to Point-7 (those incredible ALL BLACK) sails. Put these super quick sails with Matt's Moo speed board (ex Farrel O'Shea) and you've got a recipe for some big speeds. To view Matt's latest PB's - click here.

Neil Hardwick

Neil first started windsurfing in 1986 but only archived the ‘magical’ 40 knots back in 2007. He achieved this milestone on a Tushingham Series 7ssi 4.7m² circa 1994, showing that Tushingham have a great history of producing fast sails. With this in mind Neil purchased a quiver of X-15s which propelled him up the rankings on www.gps-speedsurfing.com. This year Neil has updated his speed sail quiver with the support of www.gps-speed.co.uk, to the latest Tushingham X-15s, to push him further up the GPS rankings. And in doing so has finally replaced his trusted Series 7ssi and with an X-15 4.6m² for those day when it’s blowing 50+ knots.  Neil's favourite setup up for speed sailing is his Tushingham X-15 5.2m² on a Falcon Speed with a K4/Moo Custom 21 Assy, however when trying for Alphas (500m run including a gybe and finishing within 50m of the start)  he prefers his Tushingham X-15 5.8m² and Falcon 80.
