ANT+ as used by Garmin, TACX and Timex. ANT+ is an interoperable platform that allows any ANT+ accessory to communicate with any ANT+ compatible mobile device. Most new Sony Ericsson mobile phones have the ANT+ chipset built in, so the user just needs a suitable Android APP (look in the Android Market for ANT+ fitness apps) and the necessary ANT+ heart rate strap or/and bike speed sensor / cadence sensor to turn their Sony phone in to a fitness monitoring device.
If you've got an iPhone, any model, and want to use ANT+ accessories and compatible apps, all you need is the Wahoo Fitness ANT+ DONGLE (Fisica Key) or Garmin FIT dongle, and an ANT+ heart rate strap or./and cadence / speed sensor. Click here to see our ANT+ products.
