Pedometers and Step counters.

Who needs a pedometer / step counter? Anyone who has an interest in losing weight, managing their fitness or just keeping an eye on their general health and wellbeing.  A pedometer, sometimes called a step counter, will accurately measure the daily steps you take. Most will convert this to an actual distance, and some will even calculate your daily calorie burn. PLEASE NOTE, we only sell high quality accurate pedometers. We do NOT sell the type of pedometer you might find in a cereal packet. Unfortunately, we've seen our fair share of low quality pedometers... often flimsy rattling things.

All the pedometers we sell have been tested by us. We've walked with them at the same time as wearing a GPS tracker and Garmin stride counter (several hundred pounds worth of equipment) and compared the results to the pedometer / step counter. All the pedometers we sell here have measured within +/- 5% of the result we obtained on the GPS equipment.

For general health benefits it is recommended you try and achieve 10,000 steps per day - have a nice walk !
