The Polar FT40 Heart Rate Monitor (unisex / black) features the EnergyPointer feature, which calculates the point where the main effect of training is turning fat burning into fitness improvement.  The Polar FT40 Heart Rate Monitor also has a fitness test, which measures your aerobic fitness at rest in just five minutes and also shows you the calories burned during your training session.

The Polar FT40 is middle to top of the range in the Polar Fitness heart rate monitor range.  The Polar FT40 takes the Polar FT7 heart rate monitor and adds the fitness test.
