Strapless Heart Rate Monitors - no chest strap

All of our Strapless Heart Rate Monitors use a technology similar to that of an ECG machine. They work by measuring the electrical pulses that trigger the heart to beat.  These are NOT the inferior "infra red" or "sonic" type that try (and generally fail) to read the pulse by looking for the blood pump in the finger tip. We won't sell those as they simply are not good enough quality. Strapless heart rate monitors will give an accurate heart rate reading ON DEMAND only, this means only when you touch the sensors. Please note. they do NOT give a continuous heart rate reading, as you would get from a regular chest strap heart rate monitor.

If you want the best of both worlds we sell the very popular BowFlex Fitwatch F30, with chest strap, for continuous heart rate monitoring, or finger sensor only, for heart rate on demand when the heart rate belt is not being worn, working as a strapless heart rate monitor.
